Nautical fiction - Age of Sails - on this site
We are great fans of natical fiction, especially nautical fiction from the Age of Sails. Therefore we spend a lot of time reading books in this genre, as well as reviewing such books. All the reviews are written by us and are original. In addition to the book reviews, we usually provide a bibliography and some additional information on each of the authors.
Here is an overview of series and authors in this genre that we have reviewed so far (we add new reviews all the time). Note that a number of other books by the same authors that are not part of the series listed here have been reviewed as well - for instance other books by C.S. Forester. Links to these are provided in the pages for the series. Nautical fiction books from other time periods, such as the military fiction by Douglas Reeman from WWII, are not listed here either.
